Sleeve design for the Secret 7" project. Inspired by the song 'Lights Out, Words Gone' by Bombay Bicycle Club. This project was put together by Kevin King from Universal Records. Seven bands (The Cure, Florence & The Machine, Bombay Bicycle Club, CSS, DJ Shadow, Noah & The Whale and Ben Howard) chose one of their tracks and released it as a limited edition of 100 singles on 7" vinyl. Each of the 700 sleeves would be unique. They were created by creatives and music enthusiasts across the world, inspired by the chosen song. There was even one designed by Robert Smith himself! None of the covers were labelled so you wouldn't know who designed each one of them, or which of the seven tracks was housed inside until you'd buy it and take it home. An exhibition was held at Idea Generation Gallery, in London, in April 2012, where these records were sold off to the public with all the proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
